Well I realize its been a while since I wrote last. Things were very crazy the past few weeks as my semester came to an end. Finals are done and we are in STL! YAY! This semester was really difficult but all came through and I did well in my classes so that is a huge relief. All the studying really paid off! Cory and I arrived in St. Louis last Saturday. We have spent some great time with my family. Cory and I decided to get mom and dad a new fence for Christmas and May seemed a great time to put it up since school would be out. The rain has forced to only be able to complete one side of it so hopefully we will be able to finish that the following week. Cory and I have also been cleaning out Grandma Honeys (my moms mom) basement in preparation for a garage sale we will be having at the end of May. Grandma has an insane amount of ADORABLE decor, dishes and pretty much anything you can imagine in her basement so we have been organizing it and making a garage sale pile as well. It is coming along great! So even though school is out we have been pretty busy. I have many more things on my to do list before I head back to Texas so good thing I have a few weeks still. Cory is goin back on the 26-27th because he needs to get back for grad school summer classes. He will be a busy guy this summer.
BUT FIRST! A trip to Orlando Florida!! Cory and I will be leaving on Monday around 5 am (oh early!) and will be heading to the Hard Rock Cafe Resort in Orlando Florida for five days of roller coasters, motion sickness and relaxation! We are so excited! We are goin to celebrate our approaching 1 year anniversary =) Cory will be in school on our anniversary so we decided to celebrate a lil early this year. Besides, the way we see it, we need to take the opportunity to do these kinds of trips as a couple because soon there will be children. =) Soon as in either next year or the following, depending on when we graduate. ;) Soon is not close enough for my mom who wants grandchildren in the worst way!! hehe! Anyway, we are very much looking forward to some fun adventure at the theme parks Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure, and we also plan a trip to Sea World, and then relaxation when we are not at the parks. It will be alot of fun and I just cant wait!!! I love summer :D
I will get better at posting now that school is not making me crazy. =) Look forward to giving you all a lil taste of what its like to be a Fantastic Farley!

Meet TI-5358 and TB-7260!
So, its official. Cory and I have officially joined the 501st Legion! The 501st is a worldwide costuming group that dress as the "bad guys" of the Star Wars Trilogy and use it for the good! Thier goal: charity. They visit children in the hospital, raise money for various charity groups and of course, promote Star Wars! My dad has been trooping for quite a few years and has a very wide, REALLY COOL collection of not only Star Wars stuff , but also costumes. (hes insanely cool) Being a daddys girl, I have strived to be as dorky and as cool as my dad is and while I am no where near the coolness of the dad, I am trying!
Meet TI-5358 and TB-7260.

We chose these numbers for special reasons. My number comes out to spell "lelu" (on a phone). Lelu (inspired by Leeloo dallas Multipass! ) was the character I played (and is now forever my avatar name) in Star Wars Galaxies. It is the name that led me to my best pal Aaron and my beloved Chicago gang and to my wonderful husband! Corys number comes out to spell "Sam" with a 0 at the end. This is very special because Sam is a nickname from Corys mom. As many of you know, we lost her last May. What a special way to honor his mom =)
We are very thrilled to join the 501st and already, the Black Widows (my tie pilot branch), the Star Garrison (the garrison we belong to), the 70th Explorers (Dad's Garrison- hes CO or as I like to call it "the big shot") and the Pathfinders (Corys biker scout branch) have all welcomed us with wonderful hearts. We look forward to trooping and I will be sure to share pics as we troop. I have been watching my dad and his garrison bring joy to so many and raise great amounts of money for such wondeful causes. We are so proud to join this group =) It may be dorky, but it can change lives!

A day in the life of a nursing student
Well, I can honestly say I am wiped out. Its 0130 am and while I should finally be going to bed, I am blogging. I must say that I am very ready for the summer. I mean, more than ready! The past few days have proved extremely difficult, but manageable. Let me give you a glimpse into school. This week and this week alone, I have read a chapter in history (not short chapters either!!! >.<) which has to be read in order to write out the terms, written 2 history blogs (need to do two more); I have typed up 3-4 page prep sheets of information on strokes, diabetes, and schizophrenia; I have wrote a 5 page paper on Congestive heart failure, a paper on what I believe the “heart of nursing is,” and a paper on death and dying. Sadly, three papers isn’t enough and I still need to write a paper on Iwo Jima and Okinawa for my history class. I have an exam on Monday, a clinical case study exam on Tuesday, and an online national nursing exam on Wednesday (ERI is what it’s called.) And I still have yet to do three practice tests for this ERI thing. I also need to answer 100 NCLEX questions on an NCLEX program (to turn in), do a few micro simulation studies (on nursing situations) and complete a few nursing programs at the Bivins nursing lab. PHEW!!!!! Sadly that’s not all, but you get the point. Question is where have I found time to study? Typing up the prep sheets helped for the exam on Tuesday, but tomorrow is cram day for Monday’s test L There you go, a glimpse into the life of a nursing student. Believe it or not, this is not stuff I have procrastinated to do. It is a typical week in nursing school! This is a week’s worth of stuff. See why I am ready for summer??!!?!?!?! This has been the most difficult semester so far and I know it’s only going to get harder. Despite the stress, God has his arms around me and is helping me through the end of the semester. Now if He could just take the test for me….. ;)

Palo Duro Canyon
So we went to Palo Duro Canyon yesterday with Kendra and Brandon. Kendra and Brandon, like us, are newly married and will be celebrating thier 1 year anniversary in May! It is awesome having another newlywed, young couple to hang out with ! We really enjoy thier company.
We had alot of fun yesterday but man are we all hurting today! We are incredibly sunburned! We were planning to only hike for about 2 hours but instead hiked for about 4. Texas sun definately requires sunscreen no matter what. Kendra and I are both miserable, as we shoot flames out of our bodies! I hurt so bad :( Lesson definately learned. You think I would have learned before, but evidently not. This time I did! Sunscreen no matter what!
Our dogs really enjoyed it. Luna became a mountain dog, climbing everything! She pounced into a paw paw cactus as she was after a grasshopper. I then had to dig out a couple spikes from her leg, but she didnt care ;) When we got to the truck, she was like "are we done?" she could have hiked for another week. June had fun, but came home with tender toes. They are not use to "canyon climbing."
Kendra and Brandon and Cory and I agree that our next outing will be somewhere out of the sun!

New blogger!
Hey folks,
I have decided to join the world of blogging. Hopefully it will be interesting. I have never had a blog before so this will be a learning process but I think it would be a fun way for Cory and I to keep everyone up to date with whats goin on. I will continue to post my pics and send them out as well. While I am nowhere near ready for children, I am insanely jealous of the Jacksons and the Landas with thier blogs about thier kids! How fun! My kids just are furry and have 4 legs ;) I think it would be fun to give everyone a peek into our lives, being newly married and all. And since we are so far away, it is a fun way to hear about whats going on in our lives and see through the pics as well. I hope that everyone enjoys it. I know I love getting on the Landas and Jacksons blogs , its so fun to see thier children grow and hear about what they are doing! But like I said, I am new at this whole blogging thing so it make take a bit for me to figure it out. Please feel free to comment cuz its always fun to hear from everyone =) So here goes, my first post, lets see if I can actually do this right.....
